Susan is a business owner, green advocate, world traveler, plant expert and entrepreneur who built SIP from the ground-up with nothing more than a watering bucket and a Mercury Lynx.
Using her savvy business skills and entrepreneurial spirit, Susan developed SIP into the well-established business it is today.
As a plant guru, Susan travels to rainforests around the world to continually learn all she can about the world of plants. Having visited six to date, she brings her knowledge to the field to give her clients expertise in all matters of foliage.
Susan has a degree in Floriculture from the Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute and an Urban Planning degree from Salem State College. She is currently working towards a MBA in Architectural Design at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Susan has been a member of the Professional Landcare Network (formerly ALCA) for the past 16 years as well as an active member of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce since 1992. She is a registered provider of continuing education programs for: AIA, BOMA, ASID and USGBC.
